11:45-onwards: 10 Downing Street visit for nominees

The dress code for Downing Street is smart/formal. Registration for Downing Street will take place in the Park Plaza reception from 11:45am-12:30pm. Nominees should make their way to the Park Plaza reception on street level and will be directed by Charity staff to the registration desk. Coaches will depart from the Park Plaza at 12:45pm prompt, so nominees should allow themselves plenty of time to arrive as the coaches will not wait for latecomers.

Normal check-in time for hotel guests is 2pm. The reception staff at the hotel will do their best to accommodate earlier check-in, but this cannot be guaranteed. If nominees have not been able to obtain access to their room before Downing Street registration, they will be able to leave your luggage at reception, who will lock it in the luggage room. Bathroom facilities are available near to the registration desk at the Park Plaza. Upon registration at the Park Plaza nominees will be given a pass which will have their coach number printed on the front. Nominees must ensure that they get on the correct coach. Coaches will depart promptly – unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate late arrivals. Nominees must bring some form of photographic identification in order to pass through security: a passport or photographic driving licence is ideal. Children do not need photographic identification.

12.35pm Prompt boarding of coaches for Downing Street – wheelchairs first
12:45pm Coaches depart
1:00pm Coaches arrive Downing Street for photos and security checks
3:00pm Boarding of coaches for return journey – wheelchairs first
Approx 3:30pm Coaches arrive at Park Plaza

Cameras and mobile phones will not be permitted inside Downing Street; nominees will be able to leave them in the security area once inside the building. We have arranged for a professional photographer to join us and photos will be made available after the event.
